Here are the key takeaways from our Nova Scotia Survey
- Throughout the first half of November, we asked Nova Scotians how they plan to vote in the upcoming provincial election:
- 48% of Nova Scotians say they would vote for Houston’s Progressive Conservatives, while 26% say they would vote for Churchill’s Liberals. Another 20% would vote for Chender’s New Democrats.
- The Progressive Conservatives maintain a lead in every region, and with every demographic.
- When asked how Nova Scotians would vote in a federal election, 40% say they would vote for Trudeau’s Liberals, while 37% say they would vote for Poilievre’s Conservatives. Around 17% would vote for Singh’s New Democrats.
- The Liberals maintain a comfortable lead in Halifax and Cape Breton, while the Conservatives retain a lead in the rest of the province. The Liberals also hold a lead among women, 55+ year olds, and university-educated voters.
Methodology: This live caller telephone survey was conducted from November 7-15, 2024, with 1046 Nova Scotians randomly selected to participate, with a total of 799 decided voters. The margin of error associated with this survey is ±3.5% (19 times out of 20).
