Here are the key takeaways from our national survey

• In mid-September, we asked Calgarians how they plan to vote in next month’s mayoral election:
  • 34% of respondents say they would vote for Jeromy Farkas if the election were held today, while Jyoti Gondek falls far behind at 15%. Jeff Davison sits at 14%, while Sonya Sharp retains 10% of the vote, and Thiessen finishes at 3%.
  • Farkas holds a lead among all age and gender demographics, while more than a fifth of voters remain undecided ahead of next month’s election.
  • Farkas retains 60% of his 2021 voters, while picking up 17% of Gondek’s and 14% of Davison’s former voters.

Methodology: This IVR survey was conducted from September 17-20, 2025, with 910 Calgarians randomly selected to participate. The margin of error associated with this survey is ±3.3% (19 times out of 20).
